I am the candidate with the most experience managing multi-billion dollar budgets and investments, economic development, tourism and working across the aisle to get things done.
As State Treasurer, I called for an audit that uncovered no-bid contracts and off-book accounts, returning $6 million dollars to the taxpayers. That’s the kind of financial transparency and accountability I’ll bring to City Hall.
As Lt Governor, I created the office of small business advocacy to give every small business the help they need to grow and prosper.
I worked with the business community, conservation groups and major outdoor retailers to advocate for the creation of the Division of Outdoor Recreation. People from all over the world want to come to Reno for what we have to offer.
I’ve been a trusted prosecutor, your State Treasurer, your Lieutenant Governor, served in the White House and now I teach business law at the University of Nevada.
Reno is my home. As your Mayor, I’ll bring my years of experience to City Hall to benefit all of us, in every corner of our city.
